Picture Overload...... It's been a while

So I know it has been a while since my last post and that is due to having no internet at my house, and I am about to go completely crazy. We have got to get that problem fixed... soon.

So recently we went down to Destin for Claire and Brookes wedding and the girls were the flower girls in the wedding so here are some pictures that I took that weekend. Joe couldn't go with me to help with the kids so I go Kelley to go. It was a fun weekend at a Hotel and swimming and an experience that the girls have never had before.... riding in a limo! Here are the pictures of that weekend.

When we first got there we headed over to the beach to let the kids swim. But it didn't last very long. Kelley is not a beach person and couldn't handle the kids getting sand all over her and the towels and everything. She was having anxiety.

Kelley had to wash her float off because sand got on it.... and the girls are thinking "well we are at the beach Kelley"

Austin tried to get near Kelley but she was not having that!

So Austin just throws and on himself.

After the short time at the beach we got some Chick-fil-A and headed over to the hotel to take showers and get ready for the rehearsal.


The next day the girls got to get their hair done at a real salon, and got to be pampered for a little bit.

So overall we had a really great time and thanks Claire and Brookes for having the girls in the wedding. They really loved it!

Our first garden

Well we have started our very first garden this year. I have never had one growing up but Joe and his family did. Well now that we have some land to work with we decided to plant one and that it would be good for the girls to get out a work a little over the summer. Well it has only been a few days and i think the garden is getting the best of me already. I mean my legs are killing me! And we haven't even got to the hard part Joe informs me.... ugh! I just hope we get a few vegetables out of the bunch and hope the deer and animals don't eat the whole thing up. That would make me mad. We shall see.... I am going to keep you posted of how it grows in the future if any one cares to know.

Late Easter Post

We went down to my moms for Easter, well we go every year and the kids just love it. We had a really good time this year. My sister and I took our kids to see the Easter bunny at the mall and it was so cute. The girls on Sunday morning looking at their baskets.

I am such a slacker!!!

I know I know I know where have I been you ask??? Well I have no good excuse but just too lazy to post anything new I guess. Well to tell you what has been going on lately, lets see............

Austin got into this horendous ant pile that Joe had mowed over with the lawn mower and got a kazillion ant bites on his foot. This is what it looked like the next day....

I could not help myself I tried not to pop those things but it was too tempting. Poor baby! They are all dried up now and I hope they don't leave little scares on his feet. Huh, it is always something with kids!

The girls had spring break back in March and we took a trip down to Destin to see Claire for part of the week and then to my moms for the other part of the time. I took my camera but when we got down there it went dead. How convenient huh. We had a good time but it did rain the whole time we were at the beach except for the last day we were there so we went on the beach and it was slam packed with college kids and the water was a little chilly. But the girls had fun and can't wait to go back. Claire says we always bring the rain when we come to Destin because if you think about it when we go it always happens to rain. Go figure?

The other half of the week we went to moms and just chilled out there. Relaxing and spending time with the fam! Which is always the best!!
Then it was back to the ol grind stone, back to school. Now I am counting down the days till summer when we don't have to wake up at 6:30 every morning and we can take a trip to grandmas and not worry about coming back home! Can't wait!

Too much snow....... church cancelled.

We woke up this morning at about 6:00 and it was snowing like crazy. Well then the phone started ringing and I got a few texts. They had cancelled church for today because it would be too dangerous for some people to drive, so we headed back to bed. We then got back up at around 8 and woke the girls up to go look out the window. They couldn't believe it. This is the second time it has snowed here in the past few months. The last time it snowed the cancelled school. It stuck pretty good for a couple of hours then the sun came out and it melted fast. I did get out to take a few pictures.Haley went with me and we walked around and to the pond behind our house. It was very pretty, but didn't last long.

Natalie and Abby went out but came back in and said it was too cold to build a snowman. I took Austin out and he didn't want to touch the snow he just wanted to be outside.
