Those kids...

The girls were trying on some swim suits that Claire had sent them for the summer and I wanted to know if they fit. Well as you can see in the picture Haley the little fashion model posing seems to like it. Abby just wanting to show some love to her sisters, seems to like it. But I don't know about Natalie. I think her face explains it all. She was complaining that it was too tight on the shoulders. Oh and wow those legs are blinding girls!

Here is my little stinker that will not walk yet. He will crawl everywhere and then stand up. Then get back down to crawl somewhere else. He is stubborn. When I try to hold his hands to walk, he just grabs them away and sits down to crawl.

He just loves to brush his teeth at bedtime. He got a toothbrush for Christmas that lights up.

The big 4!

Here are pictures of Abby's actual birthday on Sunday. I know we have already celebrated it but it would not be complete without another cake......

Abby loved the fake jewelry she got but she says the earrings pinch her ears too much.

She enjoyed her birthday and as much cake and ice cream and candle blowing as she can handle for one year. Happy Birthday my little Abby lu!!! I love you!

A late christmas

The girls got a few late Christmas gifts. While we were at my moms last weekend we went down to Destin to see Claire, and she had some presents for them. Yea it was a little late but they didn't seem to mind a bit. So here are a few pics.....

They love their new leapster games but they didn't come with batteries and I have yet to buy some. Come to think of it I did go to wal-mart today, what is wrong with my brain?

It looks as though he is scared to open his present or something. I don't know what he was thinking.

Austin loves his riding toy. You are supposed to walk behind it too, but he would rather ride it.
(Don't mind the laundry in the background)

Claire also got them several pair of new pj's. They are all wearing a different pair. They look so cute. Thanks Claire for all the gifts. The kids really do love all of them.

My new haircut

While we were at my moms I went to get my hair cut. Holly recommended someone she knows , and said she does a really good job. Well the last person she referred me to did a horrible job not to mention that it took over two hours to cut my hair. To give Holly the benefit of the doubt, I willingly said ok and did it again. So Monday morning we left the kids with the husbands and Holly, Jessie, and myself went to Jenny's ( the girl cutting my hair) house.
Here is the before picture.......

and here is after! Tell me what you think.
and here is the picture of all the hair that was cut off. She said that I had the thickest hair of any one she had ever cut. Yea I do have REALLY thick hair. I don't know why because when I was little I didn't grow hair till I was about 3. I looked like a boy. But she cut off about 6 1/2 inches. It took a long time too, but this time it was worth it, so thanks Holly for the recommendation. I do love it. And thanks Jenny for doing it!!! ( if you every read my blog.)

Abby's Birthday!

Abby's birthday is actually not until this Sunday but this past weekend we went down to my moms to celebrate with everyone because the girls were out of school on Monday for the "good brothers birthday" you know, but any how, we had a really good time with everybody. I love going down to see my family. This is Abby on the horse ride at Chuck E. Cheese the whole 10 minutes we were there. Yea, it was so packed on Saturday that there were no tables or nothing. We could barely walk around so we left. We ended up taking them to Chick-Fil-A, to eat lunch and play. On Saturday night we had cake and Ice cream for Abby and Cameron because his birthday is Friday and Abby's is Sunday so we try to get together every year to celebrate them together. Cameron will be turning 5 and Abby will be 4. They love each other.

Here is Abby's cake. We just went to pick one up from wal-mart. nothing special, but cute still.

The girls got their report cards last week and they both got all A's! I am so proud of them, and I know it is only 1st grade but still I am proud, especially since they didn't even go to kindergarten. They just jumped right on into the first grade. I just hope they keep up the good grades! Girls, I LOVE YOU!!!!

Christmas Cheer!

This year we went to my moms for Christmas. All of my family was there except one of my brothers. So it was a packed house we started our Christmas vacation with the blessing of my sister, Jessie's baby on the 21st.
We took the kids to the mall to see Santa, and they did have that stupid sign that says if you don't buy a package that you can't take your own camera in there but I wasn't going to buy no package and I did march right on in there and snapped my own pictures and they didn't say a word to me.
I am surprised that Austin sat in his lap he didn't even cry or anything.

The girls wanted to give him hug after telling him all they wanted him to bring to them.

While at my moms Austin found the doggie door very fascinating. He kept going in and out of that thing. Me, Kelley, and Mom. Do you think we look alike?

Abby and Austin chilling in the buggy at SAMS doing some after Christmas shopping.
Mom reading the grand kids the story of Baby Jesus on Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Eve, we always have a tradition of having a party with finger foods and it is great. This year the food was wonderful and I loved it.
All the kids throwing out Reindeer food before they went to bed on Christmas Eve. It was like in the 70's so not Christmas weather.
CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!!!

To sum it all up this year has been a good one. The kids had a fun time at Grandma's and although it was the first Christmas without my dad it was a memorable one and very emotional one. One that we will never forget. So I hope 2009 will bring us lots of happy times and fun memories!

Austin's 1st Birthday!!!

I know, I know I am late posting but Austin turned 1 on December 19th, and since we left for my moms that day as soon as they got out of school we waited to celebrate it down at my moms house. My sister Amy made his cute cake and he loved every bit of it. I can't believe that my little boy is already one. Time has flown by so fast. It just seems like yesterday he was born and we were in the NICU with him. When he was born he fractured his coller bone during delivery and he never had his maconium plug pass, you know that first black poop they have. Well he kept spitting up everything and would not poop so they kept running test and they thought that they were going to have to send him to children's in Birmingham but then Joe gave him a blessing while in the NICU and it was like two seconds after Amen was said he had the biggest poop and passed the plug. He progressed from then and only had to stay there in the NICU for a week. So last year on Christmas Day I was in the NICU and and I can tell you that one year later I am so grateful for my precious baby boy!! He is a joy to my life and I love every minute of it! Happy Birthday my little Bud!!!

Back to taking pictures!

So here is the story if you would like to hear... Well if you recall my last post, my camera got broken, right. OK so that same night although I didn't know this at the time, but Claire called and I was telling her about what had happened, and as I was one the phone with her telling my sad story she quickly left her house, went to Best Buy and bought me a new camera without me even knowing. Well two days later when the girls got out of school, we left to go to my moms for Christmas. Claire informed me that there would be a package waiting for me. I was thinking presents for the girls but no, FOR ME!!!! I was dumb founded. I could not even believe it. I had a new camera to take pictures with for Christmas. Claire, I just want you to know that I am so thankful to you and everything you do. THANKS!!!!!!
P.S. Abby says " Oh, I am not going to touch that one"!!!

So if I can figure out how to get the pictures to load to my computer I will be posting them. I am so computer illiterate!
