Well here is a new post following several of "you need a new post" from some of you. Nothing to exciting has been happening lately, oh yes except for almost loosing Abby in Wal-mart last weekend. So you want to hear the story?
The Saturday after Thanksgiving we had to go to a viewing of our Branch Presidents daughter, who I have never met before. It was in Fulton MS. which is only about 30 min away. So anyway Jenny, Joe's sister from South Carolina was here for Thanksgiving so she and her husband and her kids went as well along with Jane, Joe's other sister and his mom. Well after the viewing we all went to wal-mart. The kids were all running around like kids do and to make a long story short........ too late, I said where is Abby? Everyone looks around and says you know I haven't seen her. Well not getting too worried I call her name, thinking she will come around the corner or out from under the clothes rack but nothing. I call again and again for her looking frantically. At this point I start to feel hot and sweaty I start to cry, and I am now yelling at the top of my lungs for Abby while stupid wal-mart shoppers are looking at me like I am the crazy one. I find an employee and say to her as follows.....
Me: Excuse me but I can't find my daughter, she is lost!
Wal-mart worker: O.k ma'am calm down, what was she wearing?
Me: A black dress with a red shirt!
Wal-mart worker: O.k was she wearing a coat?
Me: NO she is wearing a black dress with a red shirt!
( But i was thinking in my head, lady did I say she was wearing a coat, NO, get on the walkie talkie and do something!!!!!!!)
Finally I hear Joe calling from down the aisle " We found her" So I start running towards them. I am balling hysterical by this point and here is Abby walking up like what is gong on, with Joes mom. She took her to the bathroom. I had no idea. I pick Abby up and say as I am sobbing, Don't ever do that again. So she starts crying now and says yes ma'am. Well the girls were crying, Jenny was crying. It was very scary to think that for a split second I thought my child was missing. I can't explain what kind of feeling that is but I hope to never go through it again. I can't imagine those parents out there who have really lost their children. My heart does go out to all of those mothers.
Well on a better note... This week has started off with nothing major happening. And can I tell you that I have not done any of my Christmas shopping yet. I am a procrastinator. I know. We hope to get our tree up this week and I will post pictures of that. We already have my decorations out but no tree up yet because we get a real tree and that takes Joe helping us. If we had a fake one I could have already put it up myself.
