My Dear Daddy

As some of you already know my Father past away suddenly on Friday Aug. 8th. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I was thankful to be able to go home to be with my family on Thursday and all of my brothers and sisters except one were at home with him when he passed. I am so thankful for the Plan of Salvation and to know that one day we will be an Eternal family. My Dad was not a member of the church but the rest of my family is. I can't wait until a year from now we will be able to go to the Temple and be sealed as an Eternal family. My dad died at the age of 63 and left behind a loving wife and 6 children. He will always be in our hearts and I will always have the precious memories of times we spent together. The girls loved their grandpa dearly and were really having a hard time at the funeral. It just broke my heart even more to see the girls crying for their grandpa and knowing that he was gone. I tried to explain to them that it will only be for a short time and we will be able to see him again. I know that Austin will not have any memories of him but I know that he is going to know that his grandpa loved his little (Tex). That was the nickname that my dad gave to Austin. I want to thank everyone who has been praying for my family and that I really appreciate everything.

Mom with all six children at the funeral.

Mom and us girls went back to the grave site later that evening to look at it and to get some of the flowers. It was beautiful.

So mom had to drive Daddy's mustang. If you only knew him and the type of person he was. He loved that thing. Mom is driving with granny in the passenger, and moms sisters in back, Diane and Linda.
