Wow, what a day!

So yesterday was a busy one. It started out I took the girls to school and waited around in town till 8 so I could call the doctor because Austin had been sick all weekend running a fever and he has had a bad cough and runny nose. Well they told me to come in at 10 so I wasn't going to go all the way back home and turn right around so I just waited. Went in to the doctor and she says he has an ear infection and that his chest sounded very rattly. I needed to take him over to the hospital to take some chest x-ray to make sure it was not pneumonia. Oh my word! so I took him over there and waited and got x-rays done. The doctor calls me later that afternoon with the news that it is not pneumonia but bronchitis. Just wonderful I say. Well finally get done with that and have to go pick up the girls from school to go straight to the dentist. As you recall the have several cavities. Well we get there and I thought they did a really good job. They didn't cry or anything.Tell me what you think.........

Haley was first, can you tell she is so excited! Well we get that done two hours later and have to rush home to do homework, whip something up for supper and yes we did skip baths last night. I was talking to my mom and she says" well that's motherhood for ya." You better believe it buddy. A full time J O B !

Happy Birthday Girls!

I am sooo behind in the blogging world. Well the girls had a birthday on Nov. 7th and turned 7years old. We started out the day with their favorite breakfast that I got up to cook at 5:30 a.m. Homemade biscuits and gravy. They got ready for school and headed out the door.

They wore their birthday cupcake dresses to school. They were too cute. After we picked them up from school that afternoon we headed down to my moms house for the weekend. You see we always go down there for their birthday because Hannah's birthday is the 3rd and Kelley's is the 5th and the girls is the 7th. So we always get together and go to the Peanut Festival for all their birthdays every year. They had a blast this year riding all the rides.

This is what Austin did the whole time, and I am surprised that he stayed in his stroller. He loved looking at all the lights. Here are some pictures of the kids riding the rides......

Hannah, Cameron, Ali, Haley, Natalie, and Abby on a ride together.

While we were there they had a seal show. It was awesome to watch. The kids really enjoyed it. They were too funny to watch.

The whole time we had the kids out riding the rides all the guys were watching this..... the demolition derby. Joe was beside himself watching this he was getting all into it. You know him and cars. We came in on the last round and watch it. It was kinda fun watching the cars slam into each other.

The next day we had a big cake for all the birthday girls. There were so many candles, Dan had to light them with a blow torch! He is a goofball!

Trick or Treat

This year the kids dressed up as a kitty cat, bunny rabbit, witch and a cow. On Thursday night we had Trunk or Treat at the church, and there was a good turn out, six cars! I guess that what you get with a small branch. But they had fun in all of 5 minutes going around to all the cars. It didn't last long. Then on Friday night we went trick or Treating around town in the nice neighborhood. Joe hooked up a trailer with hay in it to the suburban and hauled all of us around in it. Although I did not get any pictures of that. Huh. They really enjoyed it, but but by the end of the night we all piled in the back of the suburban because it was getting quite chilly! They had a blast and got lots of candy. BTW they went to the dentist yesterday and yes they have cavities!!!! I guess no more trick or treat candy for them. Yea right, I am not that mean. Natalie as her kitty cat. Isn't she so sassy!

Austin with cousin Heather as a cow and an Army girl. He was wanting to fill that bucket up!
